L’EMOJI Beauty Boxes

I love trying out new makeup looks – but the cost of keeping up with all of them can put a massive dent in my finances!

That’s where beauty subscriptions – which have become a staple in recent years – are great.

The most recent one I’ve tried out is L’EMOJI, a new subscription box which offers four to five full-sized products for just £25 a month, with an RRP value of £100+.

Each month has a new theme, making it a really good way to try out different products from a range of brands without breaking the bank.
And if you don’t fancy a monthly fee, there’s also an option for a one-off purchase (which I’ve found in the past is a great birthday present for friends).

In my box, I got a full-sized lash-enhancing Be You Mascara in black; a full-sized Gerard Cosmetics lipstick in London Fog;

trial sized Prime Shield primer from Milani

(I’m obsessed with their blushers so I was really keen to test this);

a full-sized tube of Hyaluronic Anti-Ageing Lip Plump from Dr H Hyaluronic; and a trial-sized version of Cocoa Noir Time Reverse Facial Serum from Dr Botanicals.

As well as this, I also got some press-on nude nails from Tip Beauty, and a beautiful palette of bronze, nude and berry-coloured eyeshadows from Physicians Formula.

The thing I particularly loved about the box is it made me try items that I’d have perhaps have overlooked in the shops.

L’EMOJI combines known-name brands as well as beauty products from start-ups, so it’s a great way to support smaller companies too, rather than just the big beauty conglomerates.

The fear with subscription boxes is you might be left with lots of stuff you just won’t use, but I was impressed by both the range and standard of items in L’EMOJI.

Hands up – the London Fog shade of lipstick wasn’t for me, but one of my friends loved it – so I think that’s still pretty good result.

Products are eco-friendly (two new trees are planted for every batch) and cruelty free, packaged up in a cute – and sustainably packaged – box , adorned, of course, with emojis.

What’s not to love?
