Rare Beauty is breaking down unrealistic standards of perfection.
Since this brand launched in September 2020 founded and owned by Selena Gomez.
I Instantly loved the train of thought and the mission they’d set out to achieve.
They very much promote uniqueness and individuality, they use that to empower and impact others and try to instil the importance of staying unique and not feeling the pressure to look like anyone else or to attain a certain standard of perfection.
So with that in mind I definitely wanted to shop with the brand and I have now tried lots of the Rare Beauty products from my local Space Nk store .
The packaging is a sleek, minimal design, mainly with the brands name on it which I love and feel it works really well.
I was really impressed with the price point of the products for example a mascara is £21 and lipsticks from £19.
They also offer a variety of amazing value sets which do sell out extremely quick so I tend to grab one if I see one.
So far we’ve acknowledged the brilliant ethos of the brand, the price point and the quality of the products.
Let’s now talk about this unbelievable new highlighter that launched and was sold out for ages.. I’ve eventually managed to get my hands on one!
I purchased the shade Mesmerize in the silky touch highlighter as I already have the liquid version of this so I thought this would be a fantastic combination, and I wasn’t wrong!
On applying the powder highlighter over the liquid,I’m not kidding when I say my jaw dropped I couldn’t get over the way my skin was glowing.
I would imagine like many of you out there I have bought SO many highlighters over the years hoping to find
‘the one’ I search relentlessly when it comes to certain products… well for me this is for sure my one highlighter!
So much so Ive just purchased another shade from the collection, that’s how much I love it.
About the highlighter Rare Beauty -Silky Touch
It almost feels like it should be a cream but then when you apply it something really magical happens (no joke it really does )
all of a sudden you have the most surreal glow, a kind of wet look glow I think is the best way I can describe it , and a glow that looks so natural, Its very lightweight and blends effortlessly into the skin .
It definitely offers more of a glow than a sparkle which I love .
You can start with a little and it easily allows you to add more glow to achieve your desired effect .
It’s also really pretty when placed on the brow bone or even over the full eye lid and you can also pop a little glow on your inner eye corners too.

This retails on Space NK for £24, but they go very quickly … I hope you too can grab your glow as this one is a definite 10/10 for me.
