Punch Pop: the perfect gloss to get lippy about this Autumn
Gone are the days of neutral tones and letting sun-kissed skin do the talking: Autumn is here and it’s time to layer up, and we’re not just talking about clothes.
The colder months mean it’s time to stock up on bold, bright make-up additions to liven up your look and Benefit Cosmetics have just the treat in store to do that: Punch Pop.
Punch Pop is the brand’s latest lip gloss, inspired by bubblegum, with its bold packaging and sumptuous texture guaranteed to add a slick lick of colour to your pout.
The tubes come in five ‘bubblegum’ shades – cherry, mango, watermelon, strawberry and, of course, bubblegum.
I tried the strawberry gloss because for me, the bolder the better.
The result? I am in love! The colour is bold enough to wear on its own with a simple liner, or, as I have been doing, smear over your favourite red lippy for added shine.
I am usually quite a disaster with gloss as it goes everywhere but this has good staying power and it didn’t dry out my lips, thanks to added Vitamin E.
Perhaps not for everyday wear, when you’re lunching and munching throughout the day (Halloween is a while off yet), but for night-time, this is a must-have for your make-up bag.
